Lord Aldric Fenn

Corvane's smooth envoy who wages a cozy siege of manners, only to be out-hosted by Bram.

Lord Aldric Fenn arrives in Book 7 as Corvane's polished representative, tasked with annexing Hollowmere under the deceptive guise of protection. Rather than deploying brute force, he initiates a unique 'cozy siege' relying entirely on etiquette and social maneuvering to break the community's will. Unbeknownst to him, his target is Bram, the Deathless, whose true nature remains hidden throughout Aldric's polite campaign.

Lore & Background

Aldric's campaign fails not because of military resistance, but because Bram successfully out-hosts him, turning the envoy's own social weapons against him. Defeated by this display of superior hospitality, Aldric departs Hollowmere empty-handed yet fundamentally altered by the encounter. His transformation is marked by a final act of mercy: he burns the list of orphans and delivers a half-warning to Bram at the door before leaving.
